School of Life Science

The faculty in the School of Life Science is committed to creative scholarly research. The School provides students with the opportunity to share ideas, expertise and facilities, and encourages multidisciplinary studies in Life Science. In addition, strong research groups have been developed in the areas mentioned below. Many collaborative links exist with government research institutes, industry and farms, and other universities, both nationally and internationally. Research students generally work in large laboratories where they receive the benefits of support and advice from a team of experienced researchers and technicians. The School has well-equipped facilities for studying subjects ranging form cell and molecular biology to ecology.
